University of Arizona Symposium
On September 16, 2019, the Alliance sponsored a 7-hour symposium at the University of Arizona where member Carrie Silvernail presented as a patient, and Drs. Steve Wright, Joe Pergolizzi, Bob Raffa presented on the science and medical aspects of benzodiazepines. Dr. Todd Vanderah presented interim results of the Alliance-funded benzodiazepine basic science research project underway at the University of Arizona.
